Had great expectations for this restaurant given the reviews and rating but unfortunately fell short on this occassion. Came here as a group of 6+1 kid to celebrate Chinese new year. The service was pretty prompt to begin with given how bustling the restaurant was. Starter came out and then the wait begun. It was no less than an hour to an hour and a half between the courses and even for a group seating I felt that was way beyond what could’ve been acceptable. The dry aged porterhouse was cooked nicely albeit on the rarer side. Then it was at least another 30-45 minutes before dessert came, making it about a 3 hour degustation all up. And my creme brûlée was rather grainy and eggy, and I unfortunately can’t recommend that dish. The service was fast and slow, with very prompt water filling but takes a long time to get their attention to order at the start. Perhaps slightly short staffed. What I assume is the front of the house or the manager was lovely and charming and made the service better. Overall worth a try, perhaps it was just a super busy Friday night and would be better on a different occasion.
